Ed Gunther, 89, of Cave City passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 in Cave City. He was born September 7, 1923 to Gilbert Gunther and Edna Clouse Gunther. He worked as a saw mill worker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Cave City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and four brothers.
Survivors include his wife of fifteen years, Jane Gunther of the home; two step sons, Jamel Korkis of Cave City and Kal Korkis of Batesville; one step daughter, Hana Smith of Cave City; seven step grandchildren, Suzanne, Jordan, Gracie, Dayton, Josh, Bioanca and Bree; two step great grandchildren Eli and Laney.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Cave City with Bro. Ron Conard and Bro. Steve Gunther officiating. Private burial will follow at the Cave City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his step sons and step grandsons.
Visitation is Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
