Dale Ervin Trewyn

Dale Ervin Trewyn, 77, of Batesville passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013 in Batesville. He was born June 15, 1936 in Cold Spring, WI to Burton Trewyn and Sylvia Thayer Trewyn. He served in the Army, worked in construction and was of the Methodist faith. Dale enjoyed traveling, fishing, hunting, working and cutting the grass (two times a week).

Survivors include his wife of fifty five years, Kathleen Trewyn of the home; two sons, Lynn Trewyn of Batesville and Loren Trewyn of Sidney; one daughter, Jannifer Hightower of Southside; two brothers, Dewayne Trewyn of MT and Dean Trewyn of WI; two sisters, Diane Van Winkle of Southside and Deloris Hembrey of Little Rock; seven grandchildren, Bryon Hightower, Thomas Hightower, Chad Hightower, Crystal Brown, Justin Trewyn, Alisha Smith, and Brandon Trewyn and five great grandchildren, Faith White, Mashaya Smith, Gareth Brown, Taylor Hightower and Broddy Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Darlene Herekamp and one infant brother, Darrell Trewyn.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Howard Pankey officiating. Interment will be in the Egner Cemetery at Salado. Pallbearers are JR Rays, Travis Middleton, Willie Allen, Tommy Staggs, Danny Candler and Randy
Van Winkle. Honorary Pallbearers are Kendall Staggs, Bryon Hightower, Thomas Hightower, Brandon Trewyn, Justin Trewyn, Chad Hightower, I.D. Brown, Brandon Smith, and James Brock.

Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Saturday, December 28, 2013.
