Cloy Roberson Obituary
Cloy "Gene" Roberson, 85, of Magness passed away June 26, 2016. He was a member of the Sulphur Rock Baptist Church. He enjoyed his career as a coach and teacher for several years and enjoyed working on the farm and checking on his cattle. He enjoyed going to basketball and baseball games and liked to travel. He enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jeffie and Stella (Staggs) Roberson, his wife Ella Roberson, his daughter Gayla Roberson Coles, and a grandson Bradley Roberson.
He is survived by two sons, Ricky Roberson and his wife Sherry, and Ronny Roberson, one brother Tommy Roberson, four grandchildren, Taylor Barber, Holly Magness, Whitney Capps, Britanny Brown, eight great grandchildren, Kailee Gooch, Klara Gooch, Rylen Brown, Mia Magness, Jaxx Magness, Bryliegh Barber, Kruz Barber, and Cotton Capps.
Visitation will be Wednesday June 29th from 1:00 - 2:00 PM with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM both at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at the Blue Springs Cemetery in Newark.
