Clarence Brumitt

Clarence Brumitt, 83, of Floral passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013 in Little Rock. He was born June 6, 1930 at Olyphant to James Brumitt and Goldie Petty John Brumitt. He was a business owner and of the Catholic faith. Mr. Brumitt was an active member of the VFW, enjoyed playing cards with friends, hunting, spending time with his grandchildren, and telling stories.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; Melvin Brumitt, Tillman Brumitt, James Brumitt, Clifford Brumitt, Ralph Brumitt, four sisters; Fern Brumitt, Letha Michaels, Alma Grubbs, and Mary Roberts.

Survivors include his wife; Phyllis Brumitt of the home, one son; Mike Brumitt of Batesville, one daughter; Debbie Jess of Michigan, one step son; Jerry Massey of Bald Knob, one step daughter; Carla Allen of Floral, seven grandchildren; Nicole Berendzen, Allen Milligan, Teresa Le, Tiffany Henderson, Glen Gay, Jerry Lynn Massey, Andrew Massey, Mindy Estrada and seventeen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM., Monday, September 2, 2013 at Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Joe Jackson and Bro. Mike Fowler officiating. Burial will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery near Floral. Pallbearers will be Jerry Lynn Massey, Glen Gay, Andrew Massey, Mike Allen, Chris Allen, and Troy Osborn. Honorary Pallbearers are Clifford Peer, Don Fortson, Jerry Johnson, Paul Elies, Jerry Grammer, J. C. Holloway, Danny Baker, and Mike Peer.

Visitation is Sunday, September 1, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
